As a national advocate for quality traffic safety education, ADTSEA creates and publishes policies and guidelines for the discipline.

The mission of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) is collaborating to create the expertise, information, and tools that people and communities need to protect their health—through health promotion, prevention of disease, injury and disability, and preparedness for new health threats.   CHILDREN'S HEALTH ALLIANCE OF WISCONSIN (CHAW)

The Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin (CHAW) assists local Wisconsin counties and communities with analyzing data, writing prevention recommendations and implementing evidence-based prevention activities. The Alliance works to raise awareness, mobilize leaders, impact public health and implement programs.

Children's Safety Network National Resource Center for Injury and Violence Prevention is dedicated to working with state, territorial and community Maternal & Child Health and Injury & Violence prevention programs to create an environment where all children and youth are safe and healthy.

  GOVERNORS HIGHWAY SAFETY ASSOCIATION (GHSA)

Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) represents the state and territorial highway safety offices that implement programs to address highway safety issues, including occupant protection, impaired driving and speeding. GHSA provides leadership and advocacy for the states to improve traffic safety, influence national policy, enhance program management and promote best practices.

Impact Teen Drivers has been actively planning, developing, and delivering awareness through educational materials and programs on teen safe driving with emphasis on the dangers of distracted and reckless driving.

  INSURANCE INSTITUTE FOR HIGHWAY SAFETY (IIHS)

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is an independent, nonprofit scientific and educational organization dedicated to reducing the losses—deaths, injuries and property damage—from crashes on the nation's roads.

  NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (NHTSA)

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has developed a multi-tiered strategy to prevent motor vehicle-related deaths and injuries among teen drivers: increasing seat belt use, implementing graduated driver licensing, parental responsibility and reducing teen access to alcohol. From NHTSA you can get facts on distracted driving, get involved and help keep our roadways safe at distraction.gov. As you face the prospect of handing your teen the keys to the family car, the resources at safercar.org can help mold your young adult into a safe and capable driver. 

  NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR YOUTH SAFETY (NOYS)

National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) is a collaboration of over 70 national, youth-serving organizations, including non-profit organizations, business and industry leaders, and government agencies, with the common goal of promoting safe and healthy behaviors among our nation's youth. 

  NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL

The National Safety Council is a nonprofit organization that provides education to drivers of all vehicle types and monitors crash trends to find solutions and make accident prevention possible. The NSC is a major advocate against distracted driving and cell phone use behind the wheel. Check out their teen driver resources.

  NATIONAL SLEEP FOUNDATION

The National Sleep Foundation website provides best practices, facts and resources to help you stay alert and avoid drowsy driving.

Operation Click is a charitable organization that uses positive reinforcement, a signed contract, and adherence to the rules to promote safe driving habits. Each year students have a chance to win a new car donated by community dealerships and sponsors.

Teen Driver Source - Children's Hospital of Philadelphia supports teens, parents, policymakers, educators and researchers in their efforts to make the roads safer. Educational information and free downloadable resources are available to help you make a difference.  Crossroads is proud to partner with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to provide TeenDrivingPlan in Wisconsin.

  TEENS IN THE DRIVER SEAT

Teens in the Driver Seat® is a peer-to-peer program for teens that focuses on traffic safety and addresses the major risks for teen drivers. Teens develop and implement the program while Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) provides the science, guidance and project resources.
