Teen Driving Safety Collaborative

The Teen Driving Safety (TDS) Collaborative is a group of youth and adults from across Wisconsin who are committed to keeping our newest drivers safe on the roads. The group was established in 2018, and we are currently in the process of developing a charter, goals and objectives for our work together.

We are looking for feedback from our partner agencies and teens to help us focus our efforts. Please share these survey links with your community partners and youth:

Our next meeting will be February 7 from 10-11am. For meeting details, please contact dliska@chw.org

Strategic Highway Safety Plan

We partner with the Wisconsin DOT on the Wisconsin Strategic Highway Safety Plan to Improve Driver Performance (Especially Among Teens and Older Drivers) and to Reduce Driver Distraction/Improve Driver Alertness. The plan includes suggested tasks and change ideas for each area.

National Learning Collaborative

We are proud to be part of the Child Safety Learning Collaborative, a project supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The aim of the Learning Collaborative is to reduce fatal and serious injuries among infants, children, and adolescents. Wisconsin has chosen to focus on Motor Vehicle Traffic Safety (includes child passenger safety and teen driver/passenger safety). These resources provide a guide for the development of our collaborative:
