On January 25th, FCCLA, HOSA and FFA members at Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) organized and implemented an awareness day focused on distracted driving. They set up eye-catching scenes around the school between class periods that contained important messages about distracted driving. All students were invited to participate in a scavenger hunt using the information found at each scene. A car that had been totaled in a distracted driving accident was also placed in the parking lot before students left school for the day. During lunch period the next day, students signed pledges that they will NOT drive distracted! Great work, SPASH!
